Banknotes and collectable notes (bonistics) — paper and polymer banknotes from various periods and countries. This category features Ukrainian banknotes, including issues from the Ukrainian People’s Republic and the period of hyperinflation, coupon-karbovanets, banknotes from around the world, as well as commemorative and anniversary issues from the National Bank of Ukraine.

The condition of a banknote affects its value more significantly than in numismatics: the presence of creases, wear, perforations or stains can alter the price considerably. Therefore, for each item, we specify its grade according to the international scale (from Poor to UNC) and the serial number, if this is of significance to collectors.

We recommend using special transparent holders and albums with sheets of the appropriate size to store the banknotes — these prevent creases and colour fading.
